Hello,
My name is Ytaelena Lopez and share with much of the world my passion for art, my immigration status and become part of the female, which is experienced and enjoys the same time.
While others raised playing sports, I went through all the art courses that could be found in Venezuela. Even studied a year of drawing comics with the School of Lopez and Acosta while painting and sculpture at the Cristobal Rojas.
The art was on point suspension while finishing my career in Social Communication in parallel with the Literature and Philosophy. During that period I worked, among other things, such as culture reporter and doing a couple of conservatorships.
It was in those years (2000 - 2003) when he was born GrupoGrama, a multimedia art collective with which he conducted several performances poetry (is not told them that I am a poet?). The most popular video-installation was the animals, which were unveiled at the University of Young Artists from the Central Library of the Universidad Central de Venezuela (and other sites) and video-performance-PE GREEN, MEGAINFECCION POETRY , which is available online (http://almainsolada.blogspot.com/).
Then I came to Miami in the United States, where I studied Journalism Research with specialization in Latino minority. They touched me in a very intimate drama of immigrants, with their choice of non-places and agony under the Ulysses syndrome, as if there were not enough to poverty.
San Francisco (CA) was the next stop and return to my first calling. Immediately upon arrival (2007) entered the art studio Michael Markowitz. Do another video performace with my husband called 'Bitch: Pavlovian solutions for the modern home' on the application of scientific methods for the social conditioning of women immigrants in Artists' Television Access. At the same independent gallery I presented in January 2008 throughout this and other videos in a multimedia pictorial installation called "Bitch, welcome to America."
Now I'm with you, sharing my work from the network:
